The December 4th Amnesty International Global Write-A-Thon Potluck held by the UUCW Global Peace and Justice team brought together fifteen members and friends of our church to write letters in support of 14 human rights activists and prisoners of conscience identified by Amnesty International.

More than 100 letters were written! This annual writing campaign often results in the release or improved conditions for a number of the prisoners each year; we hope this year our efforts will help that happen once again.
