Next Child Dedication is November 7, 2010; 9:15 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.

Unitarian Universalists believe that every child brings new hope into the world.

Our Ceremony of Child Dedication is an opportunity for our church community to bless the children who are new among us, and dedicate ourselves to aiding their families in their nurture and religious growth.  When we dedicate our children, we honor the truth that each child's life is sacred.

Each year at UU Church West we hold our Ceremony of Child Dedication several times a year.  It is always a moment of grace, when we, the church community speak our commitment to the new parents and children among us.

Child Dedication is for the children or grandchildren of members of the church, and the ceremony is held on a Sunday during our regular worship services.  If you’d like to learn more about it, please contact Maria O’Conor, Director of Religious Education.
