The Adult Enrichment Committee develops,
publicizes, and facilitates classes and programs for the adult members and
friends of Unitarian Universalist Church West. The objective is to support
personal spiritual development, foster awareness and appreciation of diverse
religious practices, deepen our sense of community, and explore the everyday
manifestations of the Seven Principles of Unitarian Universalism. If you would like more
information about the Adult Enrichment Committee, please contact Chairperson
Jody Bockheim.
For more information on any of these programs, contact Maria
O'Connor, Director of Religious Education.

Dances of Universal Peace
Simple circle dances using sacred chants and movements from the
world’s spiritual traditions.
Hosted by Judith Kubish and Hal Dessel, certified leaders of Dances
of Universal Peace since 1991.
Second Fridays of the Month
7:00 – 9:15 pm
From the beginning of time, sacred movement, song, and story have
brought people together—at times of seasonal ceremony and
celebration, as part of everyday life and life passages, in daily
renewal and meditation. The Dances of Universal Peace are part of
this timeless tradition of Sacred Dance.
The Dances are a joyous, multi-cultural way to touch the spiritual
essence within ourselves and others. They use sacred phrases, chants,
music, and movements from the many traditions of the earth to promote
peace and integration within individuals and groups. There are no
performers or audience: new arrivals and old hands form the circle
together.
No experience necessary. All are welcome. Each Dance is taught
each time. Free will offering
